Very tastefully furnished location, but in contrast to the location in Weckhoven it was kept very dark if you compare the photos. The dim lighting is very nice when you're sitting with a drink, but for reading the menu or knowing what's on the fork, it's quite dim. My son's veal schnitzel was excellent, with a wavy, thin breading. The goose breast with red cabbage that my wife ordered was nice and tender and the red cabbage came into play well with the chestnut marzipan sauce. I had the scamorza mozzarella as a starter, which was very good, but I didn't taste any of the tomato chutney. Maybe because it was so dark on the plate.😁 When it came to the game ragout, I clearly didn't have enough sauce to use it on the napkin dumpling. What really bothered me was the "bowl" in which the starter and the main course were served. I get strains in my hands. I also find wine glasses that look like huge congnac snifters that my wife can barely hold on to very impractical. Old school can do much better. The service. Yes. So the ambience and prices are already in the upper segment, so the service still has a way to go. The service neither knew what a Scamorza Mozzarella was, especially with this small menu, nor could they directly promise to exchange the "wine glass" for one with a stem. In addition, plates should be served from the right and drinks should not be poured across the table. It's nothing wild, but it doesn't correspond to the claim. Nevertheless, we will come back again for finger food with music. Edit Finger food with music is absolutely recommended! Pleasant music from a professional duo and pleasant size of the small portions.

We were four women and had a cozy evening with very tasty dishes. The service was great. We will come back. Neuss, December 15, 2022 We stayed at Davids again and had a great time. The menu is manageable, our palates were pampered with excellent food served by very friendly staff. Personally, I've been there a few times and have now uploaded all the pictures I found on my phone.
